Games
We are on a game board
You move your piece..
Yet I do not move mine
I see it move, I feel the push of gravity moving my piece from one square to another
Yet I am not the mover
I have not touched my piece
I merely watch as the game unfolds before me
A watcher
A passerby to my own fate
I am on my side of the board
Yet your control passes over your side and onto mine
A game meant to be played fair has been manipulated
In your eyes I am not an equal
I am not a playmate
I am a pawn in your twisted game
You move your piece..
Yet I do not move mine
I see it move, I feel the push of gravity moving my piece from one square to another
Yet I am not the mover
I have not touched my piece
I merely watch as the game unfolds before me
A watcher
A passerby to my own fate
I am on my side of the board
Yet your control passes over your side and onto mine
A game meant to be played fair has been manipulated
In your eyes I am not an equal
I am not a playmate
I am a pawn in your twisted game
